Uses of Salt

  • Pour mixture of  salt and hot water in kitchen sink to prevent grease from collecting in drains.
  • To prevent weeds pour salt and sprinkle with water in patio crevices and in between bricks.
  • Eggs boiled in salted water peel more easily.
  • To prevent mold on cheese,wrap it in cloth dampened with saltwater before refrigerating.
  • Blood stains can be removed by soaking the stained cloth in cold saltwater and then launder in hot water settings.
  • Relieve bee-sting pain.Immediately dampen area and pack on a small pile of salt to reduce pain and swelling.
